We are here to serve our community by advocating for and building trust with mamas, papas and babies, providing care, helping parents reach their feeding goals, and teaching them to care for their newborns, infants, and children.

Before Booking
BCBS patients — please scroll down to the Important Update for BCBS Patients section below before booking.
For all other patients:
Before your appointment, you'll need to verify insurance for both yourself and your baby, as both are typically seen during a visit. If you haven't done that yet, please visit The Lactation Network here to check your coverage. Some insurances take 2–3 business days to verify, so the sooner the better! If you have questions, feel free to email us at info@allylactation.com.
If your insurance is already verified, you're all set — go ahead and book below.
Private pay and fee information can be found here.
Many of you know that we have been billing for BCBS patients through The Lactation Network (TLN), which has historically operated out-of-network with BCBS while working toward in-network status. Regrettably, due to ongoing systemic challenges — some of which are outlined in a post on our social media and others that extend beyond Oklahoma — TLN will no longer be accepting BCBS patients. As a result, Ally Lactation is also unable to accept BCBS at this time.
There is one important exception: If the lactating parent or the baby carries a different insurance plan, TLN may still be able to help. We encourage you to submit your information to TLN in that instance, so they can check your coverage.
What we're doing in Oklahoma
We have been actively pursuing credentialing directly with BCBS here in Oklahoma. While the state recently updated some related policies, we have not seen successful credentialing outcomes for IBCLCs under the new guidelines — and it has become clear that BCBS policies do not currently support credentialing private-practice RN International Board Certified Lactation Consultants in Oklahoma.
In the meantime, we have transitioned to private pay for families where both the parent and child are covered by BCBS. You can find our private pay rates and fee information here.
How you can help
We are actively advocating for BCBS to provide meaningful, equitable access to certified lactation consultants — care that families are entitled to under the Affordable Care Act.

We sincerely apologize for any disruption this causes and are deeply grateful for your patience and support. Please know we are working behind the scenes every day to find solutions and protect access to care for our community.
💛 Thank you for trusting Ally Lactation.

Please note that we do not accept appointment requests more than 21 days in advance.
"I’ve referred to Sarah for lactation for over 5-10 years. She is very kind and relaxed and quickly builds an easy rapport with new moms working on breastfeeding. She is very thorough in her evaluation and clear in her education. She's consistent in sending detailed notes after appointments and on more than one occasion she has called to clarify any concerns she may have in regards to a patient. Sarah and Ally Lactation are my consistent "go to" for lactation services."

Attention BCBS Patients:
Ally Lactation is unable to bill BCBS at this time. BCBS does not currently support credentialing private practice IBCLCs in Oklahoma, so we are now seeing BCBS patients on a private pay basis while we continue seeking solutions. If you or your baby have a different insurance, TLN may still be able to help — check your coverage here. Private pay prices are listed here. Read the full update here.
